The Republicrat City Councilors like to talk about the tax rate, taxes, and fees, but not at the same time. There is a good reason for this. They might lower the tax rate, but the taxes will still go up. Or the taxes will be level, but they will institute fees.

They also blame one another for the problems. The Republicrats at the national level will export jobs and waste money in Iraq, The Republicrats in the legislature will make more laws that cost us money and fault the city for poor financial practices. The Republicrats at the city level will complain about the legislature and Congress, then work for their reelection.

The Solution is to look at the total budget from all sources and make demands on the Legislature and Congress. It is their policies that are responsible for the problem, and they should be made to fix them. I would not meekly vote to abolish services just to make friends in the legislature.
