In march the President was on the news outlining things he was doing in response to the Corona Virus. He assured us that everything would continue to work, stores would be open etc.
Two hours later our illustrious Governor, Baker, announced one shutdown after another. Panic buying commenced. Every other day The Governor was on TV with another panic message.
We then had a dictator how micro managed every aspect of our personal lives. A person’s occupation could be labeled “non essential” and he would be forbidden to work. He ordered churches closed. Some rules made no sense. Why would a golf course be closed? Why would ten people not be allowed to gather in a large building or field?

The legislature miserably failed to be the check against dictatorial power of the executive (the governor ) on which our system of government is based. They did absolutely nothing to check unreasonable rules and unreasonable fines.
We have become a dictatorship where one man can declare an emergency. He can decide when it begins and when it will end, and what he can do in response to it.
In two hours businesses were closed and the food supply chain had been interrupted on the orders of one man. Store shelves became empty and farmers were unable to sell their product because of one man.
